This Policy explains how Plany Plus Events Organization & Management ("Plany Plus", "we", "us") collects, uses, discloses and protects personal data through our web platform and mobile application connecting customers with event service providers in the United Arab Emirates.

1. Who we are

Plany Plus Events Organization & Management is a UAE-licensed business operating an online marketplace that connects customers ("Customers") with independent event service providers ("Providers") through www.planyplus.com and the Plany Plus mobile application (together, the "Platform").

For the purposes of UAE Federal Decree-Law No. 45 of 2021 on the Protection of Personal Data ("PDPL"), Plany Plus acts as the data controller of personal data submitted through the Platform.

2. Information we collect

Account data — full name, email, phone number, password, preferred language, profile photo.
Provider data — trade licence, Emirates ID copies, business address, service categories, pricing, portfolio and bank/IBAN details for payouts.
Booking data — event type, date, location, service selections, messages exchanged with the counterparty.
Payment data — card details are collected directly by our licensed payment processor; we store only masked references and transaction status.
Technical data — IP address, device identifiers, browser type, operating system, app version, crash logs and usage analytics.
Communications — support tickets, emails, WhatsApp messages and in-app chat.

3. How we use your data

To create and manage Customer and Provider accounts.
To publish Provider listings and enable Customers to search, compare and book services.
To process online payments, commissions, refunds and payouts.
To send booking confirmations, receipts, service updates and security notices.
To verify identity, prevent fraud and comply with UAE AML/KYC obligations.
To improve the Platform, personalise results and develop new features.
To send marketing communications where you have consented, with an option to opt out at any time.

4. Legal basis (PDPL)

We process personal data on the following bases: your consent, performance of the booking contract you enter with a Provider through the Platform, compliance with a legal obligation in the UAE, and our legitimate interests in operating and securing the Platform.

5. Sharing your data

We do not sell personal data. Cross-border transfers are made only to jurisdictions that provide an adequate level of protection or under appropriate safeguards as required by the PDPL.

With the counterparty of a booking (Customer ↔ Provider) to the extent required to fulfil the service.
With licensed payment processors, identity verification vendors and cloud hosting providers acting on our behalf.
With UAE regulators, courts and law-enforcement authorities where required by law.
With professional advisors under confidentiality obligations.

6. Data retention

We retain personal data only for as long as needed for the purposes above and to comply with UAE tax, accounting and anti-money-laundering laws (typically up to five years after the last booking). You may request deletion at any time; residual copies may be kept where required by law.

7. Security

We apply encryption in transit (TLS), encryption at rest, role-based access controls, audit logging and regular security reviews. Payments are processed by PCI-DSS certified providers. No online system is 100% secure; you are responsible for keeping your password confidential.

8. Your rights

To exercise any right, contact us using the details in Section 11.

Access — request a copy of your personal data.
Rectification — correct inaccurate data.
Erasure — request deletion of your account and data.
Restriction & objection — limit or object to certain processing.
Withdraw consent for marketing at any time.
Lodge a complaint with the UAE Data Office.

9. Cookies

The Platform uses essential cookies for login and security, and analytics cookies to improve the service. You can control cookies through your browser settings; disabling essential cookies may prevent parts of the Platform from working.

10. Children

The Platform is not directed to children under 18. Accounts must be opened by an adult with legal capacity in the UAE.
